Ross Sando Chartered MCSIRoss joined Collins Sarri Statham Investments after five years at a well established London stockbroker where he started as a trainee broker in 2004. Ross was promoted rapidly to Associate Director after gaining valuable management and broking skills from professionally handling a wide range of clients. “It is important in these markets to develop a good insightful relationship with clients who will trust your advice – its important to truly believe that you are acting in the client’s best interest and that the research and timing is right. In his previous role Andrew managed client portfolios throughout his six years tenure, whilst at the same time progressing through the company. He has managed teams since 2006 and has had experience in equities, commodities and CFD’s. Andrew is also a qualified technical analyst and associate of the society of technical analysts. “My aim is to develop and build long term relationships. I intend to draw on my experience in fundamental and technical analysis in order to offer the most suitable products for each individual client. I am excited to be a part of this company and team which prides itself on client focus, teamwork and integrity.” Damien Brown LLB ACSIDamien has joined CSS after four successful years at a private client stockbrokers, where Damien left as a Senior Broker providing concise and knowledgeable advice on existing portfolios and providing advice for structuring portfolios for income and growth. During this time Damien has become adept with dealing with the needs of a wide spectrum of clients and developed a broad knowledge of the U.K. Stock market. “Given the volatility of the world economic situation clients demand clarity and expediency in the advice they receive from their broker and here at CSS Investments is what we strive to deliver in a professional manner”. Khilan Shah ACSIPrior to him joining the city Khilan worked for a FTSE 350 firm as a Telecoms analyst in one of its subsidiaries having qualified with a Masters in Information Engineering. Following the dotcom crash and subsequent years of decline in the Telecoms Industry he decided to re-skill himself and proceeded to study Actuarial Science at the prestigious Cass Business School. He joined Collins Sarri Statham after 5 years of experience in the markets with experience in both the US and UK markets. His previous experience includes managing client portfolios using equities, commodities and CFD’s. “Traditional Stock Broking Service is a commonly used term by people but it is rarely delivered. I would like to bring integrity back into broking by providing a service suitable to clients needs and good old fashioned service with a professional manner” Nick Rennie ACSI Bsc (Hons)Nick joined CSS after 12 years advising private clients. He has experience in advising clients on a broad cross section of asset classes from equities to exchange traded funds, commodities and FX, constructing bespoke portfolios for long term capital growth. His wide ranging knowledge gives him invaluable insight into both the market and clients needs. “I was attracted to CSS by its conservative approach to stockbroking and trading and the small company ethos. I believe that small companies can deliver a truly unique level of service that is hard to find with large companies” Daniel Sawyerr ACSIDan began working in Stock broking in 2007 at a medium sized, well established London brokerage, he quickly rose through the ranks becoming a senior broker dealing with a range of clients across the UK Exchanges. He then went on to spend a year at a boutique brokerage; executing, advising on and researching trading ideas with High Net Worth Individuals and Small Hedge Funds. “There are always opportunities in the stock market, I see my role as being able to source these opportunities and relay them to clients concisely and accurately where that opportunity is in line with the client’s overall objectives. When the markets are as volatile as they are currently it is essential to be on the ball at all times, putting your clients in a position to take well informed decisive action when appropriate.” John Kershaw ACSI (Hons)John graduated from Oxford Brookes University back in 2008. He initially gained insight into the industry through work experience at Investment Bank Arbuthnot Securities and fund manager Rensburg Sheppards. John then attended the Schneider Trader programme before joining Collins Sarri Statham Investments back in April 2010. John has passed the regulations, securities and risk exams provided by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments allowing for him to advise private clients. “Understanding your clients needs and attitude to risk are fundamental before you even think about analysing any financial products. After a successful year where he gained the necessary qualifications & experience he soon progressed to a broker where he predominantly advised clients on short term derivative trading strategies. James then went on to join a medium sized city brokerage for 18 months advising and managing client portfolios using equities, CFD’s, options and commodities. “I feel with the present market uncertainty clients rely on their broker to take a proactive approach, recognising short term opportunities along with implementing a strategic longer term approach to portfolio construction is key in volatile markets.
